A subcontractor died on site following a construction accident at Florida State University’s campus Monday. A backhoe construction subcontractor working for a general contractor on a mile-long resurfacing project in Waterford, Michigan suffered a serious leg injury at the Oakland County worksite. Emergency crews said the worker was struck during backhoe construction and sustained a serious injury to one leg.
